The UPCET counselling 2022 Round 5 Seat Allotment Results were published by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University on November 12 at their official website. Through their JEE application number and password, UPCET applicants were able to view their seat allocation for UPSCET round 5 of counselling. If seats in government colleges remain available, the authorities will hold additional UPSCET counselling sessions.
The UPCET round 4 seat allocation results were previously made available by the authorities on the official website on November 5. On November 19, 2022, AKTU released the UPTAC 2022 Seat Allotment Round 6 results based on JEE Main and NATA 2022 scores. Candidates who received a seat in round 6 of the selection process were required to complete their physical reporting by November 22, 2022.

UPCET counselling in 2022 will primarily consist of the following steps:
Step 1- Register, upload documents, and pay the counselling fee
Step 2 - Document Verification: Online Verification of Uploaded Documents by the Central Document Verification Team (conducted in all rounds for newly applied candidates except B.Arch candidates, who can only register in Round 1).
Step 3 - Selection of Verified and Fresh Candidates
Step 4 - UPCET Seat Allotment Declaration
Step 5 - Seat Acceptance via Acceptance Fee Payment (Freeze/Float R1 and R2, Auto Freeze R3)
Step 6 - Physical Reporting at the College (at the end of the third round by all candidates who have been assigned seats)

Candidates must first register for UPCET BTech counselling 2022 using their roll number, father's name, and birth date. Once registered, candidates must upload the necessary documents and pay the UP BTech counselling fee.

The officials will examine and verify the documentation submitted with the UPSCET 2022 counselling application form once all registration forms have been received. The authority will get in touch with a candidate via their provided email address or mobile number if there is a discrepancy in any of the candidate's documents.
Following the completion of the document verification procedure, candidates must fill out the choices for the course and college they wish to take. There is no restriction on the number of options available. As a result, candidates must select as many options as possible under the preferential allotment.
After logging in to the official website, candidates can view their allotted seat for UPCET BTech counselling 2022. The candidate's seat will be assigned based on his or her JEE Main score and AIR.
Candidates can choose from the following options:
Freeze: If the candidate is happy with the seat allocation made by the officials.
Float: If a candidate is dissatisfied with the seat allotment and wishes to continue in the next round.
Withdrawal: If the candidate is dissatisfied with the seat allotment and does not want to participate in the subsequent UPCET BTech counselling 2022 process.
The official will provide the date for reporting. Candidates must appear at their assigned college with their seat acceptance fee receipt, seat allotment letter, and the required documents.

If seats remain unfilled after all rounds of allotment, a spot round of UP BTech counselling 2022 will be held. There will be two rounds of UPCET BTech counselling spot rounds. To appear for UPSCET special round counselling, however, a new registration must be made and documents must be reuploaded. Candidates must fill out the UPSCET special round counselling 2022 choice form and pay the application fee. Candidates who were not assigned a seat in the previous round or who are dissatisfied with their seat allotment can participate in the UPCET BTech 2022 special round counselling.
