The SAT is a globally recognized standardized test that is taken by students seeking admission to undergraduate schools in popular international destinations such as Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The College Board created and administers the SAT, and candidates can take the exam at one of the many ETS testing centers located throughout the country. This exam assesses candidates' written, verbal, and mathematical abilities.
The SAT exam dates for Indian students in 2022 will be held on seven Saturdays per year. SAT registration deadlines for 2022 are available 3-4 weeks before the test date. The table below highlights the SAT dates for Indian students in 2022-2023, as well as the registration deadline.

Students can register for the SAT exam both online and by mail. Students must create a profile on the College Board's official website to participate in the online process. Then, choose a test date and location, and pay the exam fee online. If students want to register by mail, they will need 'The Student Registration Guide for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests,' which is available in schools. This guide includes the registration form, which students must complete and send to the regional office of USIEF (United States India Educational Foundation) along with a demand draft. SAT test centers are located in 23 institutes across 30 cities in India. The College Board administers these SAT test institutes.
