The IGNOU MBA admission process is as follows:
Step 1: Register for the Open MAT Entrance Exam
The first step in the admission process is to register for the Open MAT entrance exam conducted by IGNOU. The exam is conducted twice a year, in January and July. The registration for the exam can be done online on the IGNOU website.
Step 2: Prepare for the Open MAT Entrance Exam
Once the registration is complete, students must start preparing for the entrance exam. The exam consists of four sections : General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. Students can refer to the IGNOU MBA entrance exam guide and practice papers available on the website to prepare for the exam.
Step 3: Take the OpenMAT Entrance Exam
On the day of the exam, students must report to the exam center with their admit card and a valid photo ID. The exam is conducted in a paper-based format, and the duration of the exam is three hours.
Step 4: Check the Result of the OPENMAT Entrance Exam
After the exam, the result is declared on the IGNOU website. Students who clear the exam are eligible to apply for the IGNOU MBA program.
Step 5: Apply for the IGNOU MBA Program
After the result is declared, students must apply for the IGNOU MBA program. The application form is available on the IGNOU website, and students must fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents.
Step 6: Payment of Fees
After filling in the application form, students must pay the admission fees online using net banking or debit/credit card.
Step 7: Admission Confirmation
After the payment is successful, students will receive a confirmation of their admission to the IGNOU MBA program. Students can download their admission letter from the IGNOU website.
