The Government of India's Ministry of Education made the policy decision in 2002 to conduct the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) annually, thereby eliminating many of the numerous entrance examinations previously held by various institutes across the country for admission to undergraduate degree programs in the disciplines of Engineering/Technology and Architecture/Planning. This initiative has received widespread acceptance and appreciation. The Government of India established a Central Counselling Board (CCB) to coordinate admissions to UG degree programs in engineering, technology, and architecture at selected institutes until 2012. CCB and AIEEE were renamed Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and JEE (Main), respectively, beginning in 2013.
The CSAB round 2 result for the special round has been published on the official website. Applicants who have applied for counselling can now view the CSAB special round 2 seat allotment at csab.nic.in. Using their JEE application number and password, applicants can view the CSAB round 2 result for special counselling. Previously, the exam authority published the CSAB special round 1 seat allotment result on its official website. The CSAB 2022 registration for special rounds had begun on the exam authority's official website. Interested candidates were given until October 28 to complete the CSAB 2022 special round counselling registration. The government has begun the CSAB 2022 registration and choice filling for NEUT. To complete the CSAB 2022 registration process, candidates must go to csab.nic.in. The direct link to finish the CSAB registration 2022 has been updated.

Candidates must select their preferred engineering branches and institutions from NIT/IIIT/GFTI after completing the online registration process, taking into account the open seats. Following JoSAA Round-6, the vacant seat information will soon be visible on the CSAB portal. For the CSAB 2022 special rounds of counselling, candidates must fill out new choices because the ones they made during the JoSAA counselling process are unacceptable. The candidates may select as many options as they wish. Candidates must "Save" and "Lock" their selections after making their selections in order for the seat allocation result to be processed.
The CSAB will conduct two special rounds of counselling following the choice-making. The board will make the seat allocation results public following each round. Candidates must accept their seat assignments, pay the seat acceptance fee, and confirm their admission after viewing the seat allotment results on the CSAB portal. Candidates who want to take part in Special Round-2, on the other hand, can select the Float or Slide options. Details about the seat acceptance fee are provided below:

Candidates who have taken part in the JoSSA rounds are also eligible to take part in the CSAB-Special Round.
