Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) is involved in constructive inter-disciplinary research projects in collaboration with several organizations such as Department of Science and Technology (New Delhi), Ministry of Environment and Forests (New Delhi), Department of Atomic Energy, AICTE (New Delhi), Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST) Karnataka, Department of Biotechnology (New Delhi), Defence Research and Development Organization, (New Delhi).
Highlights:
- A total of 27 patents have been filed since 2009 and 254 research scholars are working on various projects.
- The institute has received a total research grant of 24 Crores till date.
- 48 ongoing industry sponsored research projects
- More than 50 Collaborations at National and International level for Research and Student Exchange
