NIFT Delhi was established in the academic year of 1986. It is a public institution offering programs in the field of Fashion and Design. NIFT Delhi is the largest campus that offers all programmes of NIFT i.e. seven bachelors and three programs in masters.
It also has the largest student strength. NIFT Delhi started with 4 courses only, two at the undergraduate and two at the master’s level. At the undergraduate level, it had Fashion Design and Accessory Design, and Masters level it had Garment Manufacturing Technology & Apparel Marketing and Management.

NIFT Delhi Fees 2024
NIFT Delhi fees vary according to the course being opted for and the different fee components attached to them. As its UG programs, the NIFT Delhi offers 2 courses i.e. Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fashion Technology. And NIFT Delhi offers 3 courses in total for PG i.e., Master of Design, Master of Fashion Management, and Master of Fashion Technology. The NIFT Delhi B.Des. Courses have 6 specializations in total.

The NIFT Delhi B.Des course has a Duration of 4 Years and is a Full-time course. B.Des is offered in 6 Specializations. Interested students can Apply Online and the criteria for admission are given based on the entrance exam. The exam scores and counseling determine the final selection. The NIFT Delhi B.F.Tech or Bachelor of Fashion Technology curriculum at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi lasts for 4 years. There is a full-time option for the course. There are around 30 students who are enrolled in the program.
It is a full-time course and is offered in 1 specialization i.e Apparel Production. The B.F.Tech courses can be applied inline mode and admission criteria are marks obtained in the entrance examination.

NIFT Delhi B.FTech Eligibility
The NIFT Delhi B.FTech Eligibility is the minimum criteria that a student needs to sit to get admission into NIFT Delhi. The students need to have their class 12 from a recognized board or a diploma that is equivalent to class 12 from a recognized board. The minimum age required for a student to apply for the B.FTech course is 23 years till October 31st, 2024 (or the respective academic year).Students seeking admission into B.FTech needs to appear for the General Ability Test (GAT), and then they need to score adequate marks and minimum ranks to get admission into NIFT Delhi. National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi offers a Master of Design program with a duration of 2 years. Students having a Graduation degree in relevant disciplines can apply for admission to the NIFT Delhi M.Des course. The Application Mode for the course is Online. Students seeking NIFT Delhi Admission can get into the M.Des course by going through the entrance exam and getting adequate scores in the exam.

NIFT Delhi M.Des. Eligibility
A student needs to have a bachelor’s degree in any subject of choice but from a recognized college or university. The candidates are also eligible if they have a diploma, recognized by a university. The students who have already passed the B.Des. from NIFT can apply to the M.Des course. Students from engineering backgrounds like B.E. / B.Tech. qualified students from any institute or university can take up the MDes course as well. There is however no age limit prescribed for the course.
The CAT and GAT exams must be taken by the candidates. Those who cut fees for the exam will also be contacted for the GD/PI round. CAT scores will be given a 40% weighting, GAT scores a 30% weighting, and GD/PI scores a 30% weighting.

NIFT Delhi Fees 2024: M.F.M
The students seeking admission to the National Institute of Fashion Technology MFM course can do so by appearing in entrance exams and securing adequate rank. The duration of the course is 2 years. It is a Full-time course for which students can apply online, and admission is given based on scores obtained in the entrance examination.
NIFT Delhi M.F.M Eligibility
The minimum criteria a student should be able to fulfill or qualify for the course of NIFT MFM is having a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university. A student can apply even if they have completed a diploma course. The students who have completed the BDes course are also eligible for admission. Students from engineering backgrounds like B.E. / B.Tech. qualified students from any institute or university can take up the MDes course as well. There is however no age limit prescribed for the course.

NIFT Delhi Scholarship 2024
NIFT Delhi Scholarships can be availed to the students when their academic session starts. The students are shortlisted for scholarships based on the merit list. The NIFT Delhi Scholarship criteria are :
- College Merit-based Scholarship and University Merit-based Scholarship.
- Students belonging to economically weaker sections are provided with fee concessions as decided by the college administration.
- The college also offers merit and national scholarships by the central and state government scholarship criteria.
- It is the college administration that decides the amount of scholarships offered to students.
There are two schemes:
- “SARTHAK” NIFT Financial Assistance Scheme
- “UDAAN” NIFT Means -cum- Merit Scheme for Foreign Studies

It was an amazing experience studying at NIFT Delhi. Maintained infrastructure, great placement opportunities, everything about this college is just great.$I haven’t come across anything yet that would bother me in any sense. Though the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 50% despite top notch companies visiting the institute.
